BIOTech Futures is fortunate enough to be hosting a LIVE Webinar and Q&A session with guest speaker JJ (Jiao Jiao) Li. 

JJ is a distinguished academic and lecturer at the University of Technology Sydney and National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Early Career Fellow. She is an Honorary Associate at the University of Sydney, a chief investigator on the Australian Research Council (ARC) Training Centre for Innovative BioEngineering, and a Science & Technology Australia 2021-22 Superstar of STEM. Her research interests are in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, with focuses on strategies involving stem cells, biomaterials and nanomedicine, and diseases of the musculoskeletal system including osteoarthritis and bone disorders. JJ has a passion for science communication, working with younger people, and increase diversity in STEM. 

She will present on her work and research as a biomedical engineer as well as her career path. This will be a fantastic opportunity to hear about career options, ask questions and gain world class tips and tricks on how to succeed in tertiary education.
