Global Chapter

The Global Chapter provides an opportunity for students and mentors from anywhere in the world to participate in the BIOTech Futures program entirely online.

A Global Pathway to Participation

If you don't fall within one of our existing in-person chapters, you'll automatically be placed into the Global Chapter — letting you engage with the program regardless of where you are.

Through the Global Chapter, participants can:

01

Join multidisciplinary teams with students from around the world to develop innovative solutions

02

Work alongside experienced mentors from academia, industry, and healthcare

03

Participate in online workshops, networking opportunities, and challenge activities

A Fully Online Symposium Experience

Global Chapter participants have access to a fully online symposium experience, featuring the same calibre of speakers, industry professionals, researchers, and innovators showcased across our in-person chapters.

The Symposium provides opportunities to:

  • Hear from leading experts across biotechnology, healthcare, engineering, and entrepreneurship

  • Present project outcomes in a professional online environment

  • Connect with students and mentors from diverse international backgrounds

  • Gain exposure to emerging technologies, research pathways, and career opportunities

Accessible From Anywhere

The Global Chapter has been designed to ensure that geographic location is never a barrier to participation in BIOTech Futures.

Whether you are a student exploring the future of biotechnology, or a mentor supporting and inspiring the next generation of innovators, the Global Chapter offers a flexible online experience that connects participants worldwide.

Who Should Register?

The Global Chapter is ideal for participants who would like to register and engage in BIOTech Futures remotely, including:

  • Participants unable to attend in-person events

  • International students looking to engage with a global biotechnology community
