A BIOTech Futures Chapter is a university-based student leadership team that runs the program in its local region. Chapters bring together high school students, university students, educators, and industry partners through workshops, events, and outreach.
Each Chapter is led by university staff and students working to inspire the next generation of innovators in science, technology, engineering, and medicine.
What Are Chapters?
What Does a Chapter Do?
Deliver school outreach workshops and presentations
Support students participating in the BIOTech Futures Challenge
Host networking, mentoring, and skills-development events
Build partnerships with schools, universities, and industry organisations
Create local communities of ambitious and like-minded students
Promote pathways into STEM, health, and innovation careers
Why Do Chapters Matter?
Chapters allow BIOTech Futures to create real local impact while maintaining a national network. They give students access to face-to-face experiences, relatable mentors, and opportunities that extend beyond the online Challenge.
