The Connecting Minds Project

The Connecting Minds Project is an international STEM education initiative run by the One Giant Leap Australia Foundation. It brings together school students from different countries to collaborate on real-world science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM), and space-related challenges while developing cross-cultural understanding.

The project aims to connect students from different countries to work together on STEM and space challenges, encouraging collaboration across cultures and build global perspectives while inspiring interest and developing essential skills.

Rather than simply teaching science, the program encourages students to apply STEM knowledge to solve authentic problems, similar to the way engineers and scientists work in industry.

Through its unique, equitable, and engaging educational programs in space science, technology, and exploration, the Foundation brings together government, industry, innovation, and the community. As an agile and flexible organisation, it inspires the next generation of STEM leaders—an approach that closely aligns with BIOTech Futures' mission to make STEM careers more accessible and encourage future innovators.
